With a longstanding passion for using her skills to assist disadvantaged members of the community, Ella brings to the firm over 15 years of experience working with a range of social justice organisations.

Prior to joining Makinson d’Apice, Ella worked in commercial litigation at a top tier law firm and as an academic researching and lecturing on various topics in human rights and Indigenous Australian studies.

She has a particular interest in working with First Nations communities, asylum seekers and people with disabilities.
