Vinay is a Legal Officer on the Committee of the Medico Legal Society of New South Wales.

He also regularly appears as an advocate in the Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) and has conducted and managed complex litigation in that jurisdiction, as well as the Supreme Court of NSW, the District Court of NSW and in most Local Courts across metropolitan and regional NSW.
